Message for SDUHSD Area 4 Voters

Voters who have voted in any of the last three general or recall elections need to see in mailboxes images of Kevin Sabellico with teachers, students, and parents.

All likely voters need to read the following information about Kevin Sabellico:

• Kevin has dedicated his life to keeping our community safe, as a City Planning Commissioner, and County Environmental Health Board Member, and School Site Council President.

• As a proud alumni of Canyon Crest Academy, Kevin knows that teachers are the reason behind our schools' success. He'll recruit and retain the best teachers to work in our District. That's why Kevin is endorsed by San Dieguito's classroom teachers.

• As a homegrown North County Leader, Kevin has volunteered as a Science Olympiad Coach, worked as a Little League Umpire, and now works as a Substitute Instructional Assistant.

• He’ll stand up to extremists like Michael Allman to restore civility and integrity to our School Board. No book bans. No more scandals.

While Democrats and Independents, AAPI voters, and GOP women under 50 need to read the information above, they ALSO need to read the following information about Michael Allman:

• Michael Allman is a die-hard MAGA extremist. He gave thousands of dollars to Donald Trump and pushed Trump’s extreme agenda on our schools.

• He pushed an extreme ban on books and appeared at a rally of an organization founded by someone who was at the January 6th Capitol insurrection.

• Michael Allman has tried to assert his extreme right-wing views into our school district. He publicly mocked transgender students, and he was even endorsed by the California Pro-Life Council and the San Diego County Gun Owners PAC.

• Michael Allman has come under fire for creating a "tornado of chaos" in SDUHSD. An independent investigator concluded that he was "demanding," "disrespectful," and "inappropriate".

• MAGA Mike also caused the District to be sued for illegal gerrymandering of the Trustee Areas, and the county had to take over the redistricting process.

• MAGA Mike doesn't even believe in public schools. He called "free public education" a "socialist promise."

• When Michael Allman was a high-level executive at SEMPRA, one of his employees even accused him of directing a bribe to a Mexican government official.

• Finally, Michael Allman's bad behavior and poor decision-making has cost the District over a million dollars:

  • The investigation into Allman's behavior cost the District $49,000.

  • The District settled the gerrymandering case for $40,000.

  • Allman spoke at a rally by the "Parent Association," a group which sued SDUHSD, at a time when he was receiving confidential legal advice from the District. SDUHSD was forced to pay $20,000 in legal fees to the extremist group.

  • To avoid going to court for the Superintendent's retaliation claim against Allman, the District paid her an extra $316,000.

  • And finally, the District spent up to $855,000 fighting the family of a special education student, and hasn't yet disclosed what settlement it reached with the family. Michael Allman voted to continue litigation every step of the way.
